1. Personas based on chosen customer group

We developed personas for the Vaprikki Natural History Museum project using data from both user research and desk research. User research involved interviews, surveys, and observations to understand visitors' demographics, preferences, and behaviors. Desk research provided additional insights from existing studies and reports. These personas help us tailor our solutions to meet the diverse needs of our target audience.

2. Summary of Point of View statement(s) and How might we…? questions

On week 4 workshop, our team started crafting meaningful Point of View (POV) statements and “How might we…?” questions, so we can effectively address these needs and guide the ideation process towards developing innovative solutions tailored to the specific preferences of each persona. To summarize Point of View statement(s):

  1. For Joey, a frequent visitor to the museum, interactive exhibits are essential to enhance his experience as he finds text-heavy displays overwhelming.
  2. Phoebe, another museum visitor, prefers content curated in multimodal formats to efficiently absorb knowledge and engage with the exhibits.
  3. Joey seeks content that is easy to understand to grasp information without feeling overwhelmed during his museum visits.
  4. Phoebe values accurate and in-depth information during her museum visits, as she seeks to gain knowledge from the exhibits.
  5. Joe, a younger visitor, benefits from interactive games at the museum to stay engaged and facilitate learning.
  6. Joey desires information about peak visitor times at the museum to avoid overcrowded and noisy environments, ensuring a more enjoyable experience.

These Point of View statements aim to guide the ideation process by addressing the specific needs and preferences of different personas, thereby facilitating the creation of solutions tailored to their requirements.

To summarize How might we…? questions:

1How might we enhance exhibit immersion to maintain visitor attention?

  1. How might we present content in lively formats for better knowledge absorption?
